The Wilhelm/Chandler families have always thought the world of the Macks, Ikalls, Kourys, Khourys etc. My brother and most of my uncles worked in the wholesale warehouse and have many fond memories. My brother never came home to Mooresville without stopping in to see Mr Saad ( pronounced Side), Mitchell and his late beloved classmate, Lewis . My grandparents adored Mr Hanna (John) as he brought his wares wagon through the rural area. They always had him in to eat lunch with them. The Mooresville Museum is housed within the Chas Mack & Sons Wholesale Warehouse. I had to tell the volunteers a story about Mr Charlie and two of my uncles who were working there. He was chit-chatting with my kin when a mouse came scurrying out from behind a box. Mr Charlie who still had some moments with this English language (dont we all?) yelled There goes a MICE!! Catch HER! They loved working for him.
