The abandoned village of Lifta, Palestine. palestineremembered/Jerusalem/Lifta/index.html I have been playing with the idea of creating a campaign to get this site listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The last of the residents were evicted in 2012, and it would be a shame to see it get torn down and replaced by an Israeli settlement. It is mostly intact, and it does a great job of providing an archaeological testament to the genocide of 1948. What do our fans think?
