The aim of this site is to provide a non profit place where people can offer home grown backyard produce free, swap or trade. It doesnt matter how small your offering is as its not a commercial distribution center, rather a community notice board for people to not only share there produce but also there interest in Gardening, Keeping chickens etc Providing an alternative option to source the freshest local grown produce where by consumers can interact directly with producers be assured that produce was provided with utmost ethics and in a manner that satisfies personal standards of living. Bendigo Backyard Produce takes out the commercial nature of food distribution with an intention to provide quality relations between suppliers and consumers and a positive spirit among the greater community. Anyone is welcome to interact and post on this page. Im not sure if any rules of conduct are required, however I do think as people start to develop trust in this concept they will advertise their produce they are offering, the nature of the offer sell or swap, suburb it is located and then go on to connect with like minded neighbours and develop lasting supply relations with the community.
