The amazing Julie Coye runs a non-profit in Guatemala that focuses on helping children in the western highlands. Education and Hope (educationandhope.org) exists to provide assistance and support for school aged children, starting at age four. The foundation provides access to schools, financial support, daily tutoring, and a hot meal each afternoon to every child in the program. Breaking the cycle of poverty for these families is a big task, and Education and Hope needs your help in the simplest of ways: obtaining books for their new library room. An Amazon wish list has been created and all donations of books are tax deductible. If you can spare a few minutes and a few dollars, send a book to help create a library.
