The appointments of all three men drew praise Wednesday from lawmakers in both parties, including Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller Jr. (D), who said Getty in particular has a reputation for working with Democrats and Republicans alike in a legislature that remains heavily Democratic. He’s super smart and has a very good temperament about him, said Bryce, who later served as the chief legislative officer for Gov. Martin O’Malley (D) and is an Annapolis lobbyist.
