The arrogance of perceived intelligence will continue to be the downfall of any mass movement. The point at which the "intelligencia" begin to see ONLY their methods, strategies & ideas as important is also te point at which a chasm is created-so that instead of being united against ONE cause, we are divided amongst ourselves, accomplishing nothing. There is not a single movement alive--I repeat, NOT A SINGLE MOVEMENT ALIVE-- that happened SOLELY because people with education and degrees mobilized after deep analysis. There were Martins and Malcolms and Stokelys....but there were also Ms Joneses who made fish dinners and Mr Edwardses who brought lanterns to revolutionaries and Ms So-and-so who was too scared to actively fight on the front line, but not too scared to do smaller things just in the house where she worked as a domestic. Do not be so caught up in your purchased accolades and certificates of completion that you EVER for a moment think that you are bigger than the movement or any of its MANIFOLD parts.
