The art Of Life. Lots of people run around looking for some form of nirvana, usually spending fairly large sums of money in the process. Their search usually takes them to some far off sun drenched land where they wish they could live forever in something they see as heaven on earth. All very well but it doesnt fulfill me the way it seems to do others. Now I come to the image of my traditional landscape painting here, a view on my doorstep and its what i regard as unbeatable. Titled THE ROWAN TREE its a view of a Scottish farmhouse with some sheep in the foreground, very simple, not spectacular but it enriches my soul.
