The attorney for a Terre Haute man whose 10-year sentence for confining three adopted children to their bedroom was thrown out on appeal says shes taking the case to the Indiana Supreme Court. The Indiana Court of Appeals has ruled the trial judge improperly capped Larry Russells sentence at 10 years. It says he can either be resentenced under his plea agreement to up to 56 years or he can have the deal thrown out.
