The beautiful Y foundation posts are now being called the Why posts, Why dont they want to hold up the frames until the concrete goes off. We had a great start to Wednesday with the Hiab dropping the posts right down to the bottom of the site...this was followed by a fairly large scale test run of bringing the actual house frames into position...only to make the sensible call that our temporary propping plan wasnt 100% thought through. Cue, see you another day frames, back down the road you go. This test run also aligned with CityCare fixing a pot hole in the middle of the only remaining access road. Back to whoring myself to the Citycare project manager and getting the lower retaining wall repair site opened up for our personal access route. That view is starting to owe us some pretty special sunsets! Right..NO pot hole fixing allowed this Tuesday, we are going to give it another crack, after tomorrows 20m3 concrete pour. Sorry neighbours, your understanding is truly appreciated.
