The beautiful woman Ive loved and admired for all these years has written a book (finally.) I sincerely urge all of you to go out and by this book/ borrow it from a friend and read it from cover to cover. When Brad and I found out we were going to be parents, one of the biggest fears I had was having to ask for help. That I may seem weak or incapable if I had to ask for anything. Our families and people that we barely even knew banded together and in a matter of days we had enough baby stuff to stock two houses full. The feeling of shame and embarrassment melted away almost instantly, because we saw that these people truly wanted to help. Not because of a promise of future reciprocation, but because they loved us and our new baby. That was enough. If you love people enough, theyll give you everything.
