The behavior you pay the most attention to is the one you will see repeated. Have you ever been guilty of asking someone to do things for you and they forget one, and instead of being grateful for what they did, you focus solely on what they didnt do, or the one time when they couldnt do you that favor becomes how they are defined (I can never depend on them...). You never or You always are attacks. When humans feel attacked, their natural reaction is to get defensive. Lets face it, no one is that extreme that they never or they always do something. If you are going to use extremes, make sure they are always positive: You never fail to show your love to me; You always make me feel special. Focus on the positive. #changeyourbrain,changeyourlife.
