The best politicians are the ones who hated the political world and were reluctant to get involved but because of an overwhelming sense of duty committed to the life for a period of time, like the soldier commits to the battlefield but always dreams of going home. Washington and Jefferson longed for home and private life. It is the difference between a politician and a statesman. Weve turned politicians into rock stars when they should be roadies!
