The best way to predict your future is to plan it - TopicsExpress

The best way to predict your future is to plan it yourself. Imagine… ten years from today… 2024: 1. What have you become? 2. What do you do for a living? Are you employed, self-employed, an entrepreneur, a business owner? Retired? Or what else have you become? 3. What influence are you having in society? Are you an asset or a liability to society? 4. What do you own? (houses, cars, investments, toys, businesses, e.t.c.) 5. Are you wealthy, middle-class, struggling, broke or poor? 6. What kind of lifestyle do you lead? Where do you spend your holidays? Where will you be spending your Christmas holiday (Dec 2024)? 7. Who are your close associates and friends? Are they influential, positive and successful? If not, why not? 8. What kind of legacy has your life created over the past decade? 9. What are you happy with and what do you regret about your life? 10. What do you wish you had done differently over the past 10yrs? What you planned /did in 2014 and followed through… 1. What personal vision did you set? 2. How did you shape your thinking? Which books did you read? What seminars did you attend? What kind of music dominated your thoughts? How did you diffuse negative thinking? How did you cultivate the habit of thinking positively? 3. What values, principles and habits did you develop in 2014 that have made you who you are now (2024)? What strategies and action plans did you develop and follow? 4. What kind of friends did you choose that shaped your character over the past 10 years? 5. What kind of education and professional development did you pursue over the past ten years? Whatever you will become in 2024, just 10yrs from now, will not be an accident, but a direct outcome of what you think, do, (and not do) each day of your life. Just like any building, whether small or large, ugly or beautiful, it is a sum total of the collection of the bricks, cement, sand, paint, nails, plunks, e.t.c that were put together systematically or carelessly. Build your life TODAY, shape what and who you will become TOMORROW by carefully thinking, planning and doing what will shape the kind of life and personality you want to become 10yrs from today. “To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the LORD comes the proper answer of the tongue.” (Proverbs 16:1). “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”(Proverbs 16:9). God Bless You Richly!
