The biggest Scam: So if one ministry is cash strapped, it can just announce vacancy & generate hundreds of millions of Naira from the poor populace.A total of 700,000 people from the 36 states including Abuja, applied for 5,000 vacancies in the Nigerian Immigration Service. 700,000 x N1,000 = N700 million. Someone should be investigated.The government is now defrauding its citizens. Being unemployed is not a sin, the punishment is unwarranted. The Minister of interior, Patrick Abba Moro should be questioned. These applicants are citizens and not slaves. And, I remember people died some years back for this same Immigration job. So,it means either our leaders dont learn or just been wicked. And, I dont think applying for job is too much for good citizens. But, collecting N1,000 each from 700,000 unemployed citizens for 5,000 slots that may have been filled already by cronies of top politicians is pure wickedness. For 700,000 people to apply for Nigeria Immigration Service job is a great indictment on the government at all level.99% of the applicants never imagined such job when they entered tertiary institutions but this is what Nigeria has reduced them to.The federal and state governments should bow their heads in shame. Weve lost it. (no need to mention LGs because they dont exist)And if these 700,000, who are just a portion of the unemployed, become armed robbers, the government will come & call for prayers for peace to reign.Someone should pay for these deaths. Even animals have dignity. RIP to the those who lost their life & condolence to their families. If unemployed graduates are these hopeless dying to get job while illiterates Militants get paid for committing crime. I wonder what Nigerian government stand for? BUT , we MUST all condem this criminal act. Where is Nigerian Human Right commission, Public Complain Commission, Nigerian Labour Congress, Nigerian Bar Association, Nigerian Activist, EFCC if still function? God bless Nigerians!
