The calling to be a full time Musicianary can be so exhilarating and frightening at the same time. Often, I feel like Moses must have felt when he was on Mt. Sinai in God’s presence. Unbelievable Glory!! Other times, I feel like Moses must have felt in his 12th year of wandering in the desert, asking God “Where are you leading me and how do I get there?” I am constantly searching for that Oasis. That radical middle between simply and prayerfully trusting God to open doors while I comfort and encourage the suffering through my music versus trusting in the knowledge and experience I have gained from years in business and the board room – praying, seeking wise council, planning, implementing, monitoring and modifying the plan and vision as I believe He is leading me. I am convinced that the Oasis is somewhere in the middle, but the longer I walk along this path, the more I am drawn to simply trusting and asking God for EVERYTHING! Along my path, God keeps giving me little piles of rocks, Ebenezers, to remind me of His faithfulness and love, that I am not alone and that He will provide everything Brad and I need to carry this vision throughout Atlanta, Denver and wherever He leads.
