The celebration of bringing on the New Year is different for everyone. People say goodbye to the year behind and have great hopes for the year ahead. People make resolutions to encourage themselves in areas they want to improve. I think all of these are great. I have found a treasure that I would like to encourage you this next year. I think we all place so much emphasis on time and how we are not measuring up, so make all these resolutions. God says His mercy is new every morning. Not Every Year. Every day we wake up is a gift and a treasure. We breath in the oxygen of grace. We get to decide every day how we want to live our life. I think it would be great this year to focus on some great things about us and who we are in Christ instead of what we are not. How we fall short. It only discourages us. As we keep in close connection with Him and surrender our selves, we are able to be the soft clay Our Potter will work with in His perfect time. He promises He will perfect all that concerns us...
