The closure of Lake Forrest Drive, between Lake Summit and Chevaux Court, will remain in effect at minimum through Sunday, June 9th. Recent and projected rains have caused concerns regarding rock fall and slope hazards in the area. Drivers traveling south are asked to detour from Lake Forrest Dr. to Stewart Drive to Roswell Road, onto Maryanna Drive which will connect you back to Lake Forrest. For those traveling northbound, please take Maryanna Drive north to Roswell Road to Stewart Drive, connecting back with Lake Forrest. There will be additional signage in the area to help direct you. Drivers are asked to use extreme caution and maintain the posted speed limits along the detour routes. Updates will be provided, as further information is available.
