The coach I normally drive, a 06/07 H-3 has a 515hp Detroit chipped up to 535hp. Its a power house. Ive had a few problems through the years with it, but have never missed a show......... I probably have 60,000 miles of driving various coaches with the new Volvo motor in them. The motor itself seems to do the job. And wow! is it quiet..... One thing Ive noticed about the new Volvo engines is that if you have a problem with it, finding someone to work on it is a tough go.... Folks like Stewart Stevenson, Penn Detroit, Williams Detroit and other Detroit repair shops seem to understand the importance of getting an entertainers coach repaired asap and back on the road....Convincing a Volvo Truck dealer that my repairs are more timely important than the pipe haulers who came in after me is a waste of time... The Volvo Truck Dealers Ive looked to for help, so far dont seem to get it....Hello Volvo!!.... The show must go on ... Wishing Detroit would make bus motors again...
