The coming dispensation in Abia State will usher in what I call THE ADVENTIST REVOLUTION. I will explain. The two frontline gubernatorial candidates, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu and Dr. Alex Otti are both members of the Seventh Day Adventist Church(SDA), a church renown for their prowess in delivering captivating songs that melt the heart and reinvigorate the spirit man. A church that invests heavily in education, generally calm and immune from the prevalent Pentecostal razzmatazz of today. What it means now is state functions that involve church services would now hold on Saturdays, the worship day of the SDA Church. Who knows? Maybe the sweet songs of the SDA Church may just usher in a season of songs in the mouth of Abians. Now I understand why my man Ogwo Chinedu Onyike, an Adventist, who ordinarily goes to church four times in a year, one for each quarter is now running around to become the Sabbath School Superintendent in charge of Umuahia District.
