The country has a leadership crisis whether we like it or not. In midst of this crisis God has given us a sign. He has given us someone who fear him to come and serve the people of Zambia. 1. How shall we create employment? Our vision is 3 fold. Making Zambia as an industrial hub, making zambia as a food basket and energy super power (use of bio digester to produce energy using biofuel) by opening more manufacturing industries we will increase revenue base, reduce cost of production and create employment. The governement will have 10% spent on goods and services restricted to vulnerable youths and women creating wealth for many and leave the streets. We will not use force to move vendors out of the street. We will implement the NEEP (narep employment and enterprise plan) that will make vendors get attracted to supplying goods and services to the government. 2. Our cost of living. Currently Zambia depends on imports of goods and services and exports mainly copper. We import even toothpicks as we cannot make them despite the availability of natural resource. We depend on rain fed agriculture while we neglect the water and arable land God has given us. Inputs to grow cash crops are high. The country just grows maize to eat and we have nothing to export to earn forex. A Narep government will have grain marketing boards. We will grow other crops mainly for export thru out the year. Agriculture will be a competive industry whixh will see many Zambias invest in it at lower bank rates. We will not depend on rain fed agriculture only 50yrs of independence. Our reduction in production costs by re introducing subsidies until such a time the country will be able to sustain itself and see most goods and services go down including fuel. We will explore oil points within our country and make a commitment to get oil nearby including Angola. 3. Education and health When u visit other countries that is when eyes can be opened. Governments have put priority on the education and health sectors of their citizens. For us 50yrs of independence what we see are women still giving birth on the floor, a record of students denied bursary and recording deaths. Riots by students to remind government to pay them meager BC that does not even see them thru, Access to health posts in rural set up is far. The service we get at high cost shud be the minimum standard for all citizens if we can increase allocation to health and education. A Narep governmen will not come and promise anything without fulfilling it. We will prove it as we are the only party that will sign social contracts with the people so that it will serve as a reminder to us. For example we will maintain to be the only party that will not just promise something u want to hear but we will explain how we will be able to fulfil it. E.g we introduced the blue print as a commitment for us to impliment the new constitution. Whoever will come to u that they will enact the new constitution ask yourself if that is not the same message u heard from PF and if there is any guarantee for that. Narep always shows the way. Its time to stop politics of deceipt. As we go to speak to the people let us for once be truthful. I pray to God that he does not give any chance to a lier to go to plot one. Only people who mean well shud win elections. Join hands with Narep and end the era of hooligans and immaturity. I will continue highlighting issues in my next posts.
