The country of the Philippines...a nation in asia an island archipelago is a place governed by so called lawmakers and politicians in which a great percentage but not totally is riddled with rampant corruption and insolence. privy in embracing lavish oligarch lifestyle robbing the coffers of its treasury sad with no regret whatsoever the rich becomes richer and the poor becomes poorer only the traditional politicians benefit from this all... for this chameleons dress in their fancy clothes and thus who have promised their constituents empty promises...Double faced with no animosity or remorse whatsoever only showing concern and false sympathy for the media to boost their popularity...to mislead their true intent to become rich and influential. They say the wealth of a country comes from its natural resources...would you believed that the country the Philippines has vast quantity of oil and gas resources as evident of the discovery of oil of the coast of Palawan in the late 70s by the company Shell International with this premise it suffice that the people would benefit from this natural treasure.But the outcome was the opposite poverty can be seen everywhere.The oil revenue was funeled to the politicians and shaddy individuals. Let me reiterate the country of Venezuela located in South America is a good example of a country of true compassion and love to its people, when crude oil was discovered in this country the lives of the Venezuelans was transformed from poverty to well to do their society changed because of oil they were given subsidy by its goverment drived from black gold (oil). Poverty in the above asian country will continue unless the disposition ot its oil revenue be allocated to alleviate poverty and economic misery unemployment,health care... if this would be achieved perhaps only few inhabitants of this asian country would dare venture out in search of jobs in the Middle East or in any seven continents of the world. Hunting for greener pastures.
