The crisp and icy metallic surface creates an impression of a cold exterior. It might also imply that the interior is cold or that the substance that goes in the bottle is meant to be cold. The surface is hard and robust, with an unbreakable feel. Saying this, there are evident scratches and dents in the aluminum bottle. The statement the surface translates is, “I’m strong to withstand anything, however, I’m not one of them bottle that you can just toss around!” A bit contradictory, however, maybe the designer consciously chose a strong surface that easily forms dents to create a bottle with a life, one that the owner feels a bond to (sounds a bit dramatic, but I don’t mean a dog bond or etc; just a little spark). I remember where my bottle received most of its scratches; I look at it and remember memories. Whether, there are dents or not, the aluminum will keep the liquid cold while protecting it at the same time. The bright red color, suggests that it doesn’t mind being noticed. It also makes it easy to spot.
