The dance between earth angels and addicts is fascinating. Many people with addictions carry an unresolved trauma from earlier childhood years. Quite often for men, there is some unresolved and imbalanced relationships with their mother figure. Being so, it is the tendency for them to seek out nurturing women, in an unconscious effort to heal and balance that wounded aspect of their inner child. Earth angels embody truth in a very raw form. Being in an earth angels presence naturally allows a deep mirroring to occur. Consequently, there is this dynamic dance between the Earth Angel and the addict. As the addicts draws nearer to the earth angel for their own inner healing, they also stand witness to parts of the self they may not be ready to fully accept and embrace. Feeling vulnerable and transparent in such sacred, yet visible space, the addicts behavioral cycle presents itself. Denial. Anger. Projection. Guilt. The earth angel must remember to stand firmly rooted in love and not accept or take on any of the energetics that the addict themselves needs to work through ~ for that is the addicts journey. Standing stationary and in a place of love, we can remind self, and addict, that we are all one; beacons of divine consciousness here to support one another on this journey called life. Earth angels in particular need to use discernment, as the ability to see the highest possible potential in individuals, and the desire to inspire, can also create a feeling of insecurity, a trait already residing in an the addict. Once clarity is achieved and one understands the dynamic undercurrents at play, it is possible for the soul to break free, either separately or in union. Free will affords us choices, carving out our souls evolution. We write the story. Lets us make choices in love and truth. ~ Chrystie Eileen
