The dentist was right. Its going to get worse before it gets better. Im SO Glad he gave me the prescriptions antibiotics and pain pills. Discovered a little bit ago I have a major infection going on with the side of my gums being so swollen. That explains why the pain pills and ibuprofen arent working tonight at all. Called Mo a little past 10:00 when I discovered how swollen it was. I thought it was just the bone that was bruised when Id run my finger along the edge of my jaw on the outside of my mouth. It hurt so bad that I stuck my finger in my mouth to rub my gums. Thats when I discovered the swelling being so bad. I really didnt realize it was like that all of this afternoon. Mo said there isnt much more they can do besides the antibiotic unless I wanted them to lance the gums to relieve the pressure. . . . NOT! She said it just happens like this sometimes after a difficult root canal.
