The deportation of Yashika was a fundamental denial of her humanity, she has been reduced to a pawn in a political game. There was no reason to fast track her deportation. She is a 19 year old girl, who was studying hard, preparing for her A levels. What possible difference would it have made to wait 6 weeks (or months) until she completed her A levels apart from for some soulless political agenda? Shes lost her mother and family at 19 years of age, how is she meant to deal with that, let alone everything else?
