The dishes: We have talked about marriage and the sanctity of the union that God put together on here before. Although I am thoughtless most of the time, as I was in the kitchen awhile ago I had an epiphany, the dishes we were given as our wedding presents almost 33 years ago are still the dishes we use today. Is there any link to this? Probably not, but there are some that have been broken over the years, just like there are times we probably didnt like each other so much. Marriage is not all rainbows and unicorns, it must be worked at and has to be give and take... I give and she takes (badum dum). Seriously we have screamed, laughed, cried, but most of all we have loved. I believe that God put this woman in my life and once we became one in the eyes of God, He has smiled on us. We have nothing fancy, no big bank account but we still have each other and God.... and our dishes. I really cant think of anything else, especially that we use daily, that we still have... not even my wedding ring, I have not seen it since a move in 87. I suppose since the plates are round, that is our circle in which we are bonded. Sorry for taking up your time, but this was just in me.... prayers for all that need them and Praise God for those He heals!!
