The doing or deed of a believer in Christ must precede his/her - TopicsExpress

The doing or deed of a believer in Christ must precede his/her doctrine. Its true that we are commanded to teach the nations, however we must know that our teachings will only be as effective as our doing. The will of God is that our teaching must derive from our doing. While you can teach from what you have learnt or studied, please note that such learning becomes more productive and effective when you give yourself to doing them first before you start teaching them. The best teaching is from what you do, what you practice. When you teach from what you do you are saved from being hypocritical like the Pharisees and Sadducees of old and you will be more like Jesus, who first began to do before he started to teach. And you dont have to become perfect in your deeds before you begin to teach, only let your commitment to do what you know according to the commandment of the Lord be total. The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, (Acts 1:1).
