The drive-through nature of Mount Evelyn is a problem, with heavy traffic clogging York Rd every day bringing little advantage to our shops and businesses. It makes our town difficult and sometimes dangerous to venture into at peak times, and adds nothing to our towns character. Most of the drivers are heading to the Warburton Hway to get home, they dont stop and shop, so any plans that would redirect that traffic would be a plus.
