“The earth is the LORD’S, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it.” – Psalm 24:1 Everything we have comes from the Lord. He is our Creator and the Creator of the universe, therefore the whole world and everything in it is His! Every ounce of gold and every particle of dust. The grass on a thousand hills and all the cattle feeding on it belong to Him. In fact, even the air we breathe belongs to God. God gives us numerous principles in His Word regarding money and stewardship so that we may be disciplined with what God has entrusted to us. We are actually God’s stewards or managers of the things we have been given which includes; our homes, cars, clothing, computers etc. God wants us to enjoy the things He’s provided but we are to manage them well and use them to bring Him glory! (1 Corinthians 10:31) Remember, we don’t “own” anything, God owns it all!
