The email from Scott Edwards to our County Commissioners Steve Andes, Joe Haynes and Andy Skidemore shows how our County and the Mayor of Hurricane along with the People of Putnam County working together get things done. Our Legislature and Our Congress could learn from this cooperation. Commissioners: Today at 3:30, I received a phone call from Lisa Kardell, Director of Public Affairs for Waste Management, advising me that they have ceased receiving any more MCHM waste into their landfill in Hurricane!!!!! City counsel is speaking with WM counsel now. I just updated Jennifer and her and other attys will be in communication this evening and over weekend. More info to come..... But good news. Wanted to share with you immediately. Also, I thanked Jennifer for the work she did on the injunction. It was written very well and I told her I very much so appreciated her work on it. I want to thank each of you for your support on this issue. Scott
