The end of last week and the weekend amounted to about 5000 photographs and 3 to 4 hours of video footage. Processing the images began after tidying up some of the mess, yesterday. Mostly putting things away so I can find them again. That and coping with the downside that always comes after the burst of energy that is involved in artistic production at that level of intensity. In the days when visual art, at any real pace of production, was impossible, due to many unfortunate twists of fate and circumstance, I used to write poetry with similar intensity. A book of verse a month at one point, during the peak of that period of creative frustration..... Becoming more interested in documentary and development of story, than I used to be. Not sure if that turn of the psyche is a good thing or not.... It leads to more frustration, due to the social and financial challenges of that type of production.
