The endless gratitude I feel right now with all the prayers and help I have received for the furry babies that put their trust in me to take them in and find them homes... is indescribable. All I care about is a new beginning and second chance the amazing people I have met just this past year, those that stick with me, and those I have reconnected with, have given me so much faith and happiness. Caring for people and animals is truly a life changing experience. You find yourself in a dog that you see hit by a car and a defenseless cat declawed roaming the outdoors unable to catch her prey. Life happens, our world is a hard one to live in, especially for the creatures that the bible says we are supposed to protect. Not getting in bible thumping mode. But there is something spiritual in knowing a cat or dog could have died if you didnt do anything and looked away. I feel pretty good about the 23 rescues since Christmas. Feels good, I am broke, lol. But the money I needed went to something far more important. Donate to your local rescues, foster a cat or dog, volunteer at events and find yourselves. It feels... pretty damn good. You know you are going in the right direction when things simply start to work out. Thank you.. for rescuing ME!
