The entire incident played out within thirty seconds after Austin came out of the building. Jere Beasley, attorney for the Collar family, said about the shooting, “I can tell you without reservation nothing we saw in the videotape justified the use of deadly force in this case.” Sound familiar? The point is that while we may never know if deadly force was justified – where is Al Sharpton on this one? This was a black cop shooting an unarmed white teenager. Why aren’t predominantly white neighborhoods being set on fire right now? Why aren’t whites looting, rioting and flipping over cars? This incident, which eerily parallels in many ways that of the Mike Brown shooting, clearly and unequivocally shows that race-baiters like Sharpton, Holder and even Obama himself know exactly what they’re doing when it comes to pushing racial tensions over the edge.
