The event takes place at The Rugby Club Minehead on Sunday 3rd August 2014 Starting at 10am. -------------------------- On Saturday 2nd August * 4pm onwards Camping available - for those booked * 6.30pm Pasta Party - for those booked * 7pm to 11pm Bar Open -------------------------- On Sunday 3rd August * 7am to 9.30am Registration * Large map available to look at -------------------------- Parking on the day is in a field a few hundred yards from the Rugby Club. Please follow directions for Parking before riding or walking over to the Rugby Club to register The format has changed for this year. There will be three loops all different and getting progressively harder. They are all starting and ending at The Rugby Club, and so the Tea Stop is there too. Everyone goes out on Loop 1 - The Challenge This is 9.4 miles long When you come back in you can visit the tea stop and choose if you want to leave it at that or if you want to test yourself further and go out on Loop 2 - The Decider This loop is 10.9 miles long Treat yourself to more tea and cake and make that last choice of the day if you want to ride Loop 3 - The Killer Loop This is 11.2 miles long and more technical. We will be scanning you out and in each time and you will also be given a wrist band for each loop you do, so we can guide you in the right direction. As we did last year we are not publishing a map on the website, or GPS. We are marking the route for you to follow. Large maps will be available to study at the start. Please keep any gates marked with tape open. Please CLOSE any gates marked with red tape. Please be considerate to all other users of the bridleways. Make sure you take plenty of water with you from the start No smoking anywhere - the moor is tinder dry On Friday 1st August you will receive a text message with your rider number as a further reminder.
