The fall of the Iroko A sunny saturday filled with turbulations somewhere else it was engrossed with jubilations Alas! the Iroko has fallen and it occurs too sudden that the birds had little time to fly away these birds that feed on amorous birds shamed away The Iroko which refuse to shed the good and choose not to serve the hungry birds food That recalcitrant huge tree who incite birds to prey on its kins That tree that claimed he can make a forest and also the king has fallen disastrously; the good are left with freedom to go around the hood in few months time, the land shall be green as other trees begin to grow with a lovely grin. freedom at last; the forest will soon be made up of trees The good will continue to live in peace.
