The family of Jordan Thomas, who sustained fatal injuries in a shooting incident on Sunday evening in Sheffield, have issued the below appeal and tribute: “On Sunday 21st December 2014, Jordan Thomas, loving brother, son, grandson and partner was sadly taken from us. “Jordan was such a likable, caring, loving individual with a larger than life personality who really did brighten up any room he entered. The family used to joke with him that he needed to go to the doctors to get checked out as he was always so hyper. “Jordan truly was full of life, with his cheeky grin and quick wit, he was a charmer, anyone luckily enough to have met Jordan will attest to this and those that have met him truly did love him. “Jordan was taken from us in an act of cowardice on Sunday night, an act which has left the family and community devastated. “We would like to appeal to the public; we need your help to apprehend those responsible. If you saw or heard something we desperately need your help. You may even know those responsible. “This person may be a friend, a neighbour, relative or you may have seen them before or after this evil act. This person may have been on edge, did they disappear for a few hours Sunday night around 10pm? Did they leave town for a few days for no apparent reason? Did they become more secretive, withdrawn or have been acting weird since Sunday night? “People often speak about how horrible it must be when families get burgled close to Christmas; well we have suffered ultimate loss.
