The famous (and some would call legendary) books in the library that carried written-in captions (like my tampax is leaking, and other works of literary brilliance). These books were were written into for several years, and by multiple class years before us. I used to laugh until I cried reading the inventive dirty humor. Mrs. Shipton would get so pissed at us laughing and snickering she would shush us and threaten a visit to the Principal. I got kicked out of the library muliple times. (I wonder what ever happened to those books) Someone would inevitably cut a fart on those hard wooden chairs...which amplified it to sound like jack hammer on concrete. Shipton would come flying out of her office with lightning bolts coming out of her eyes and her hands on her hips!
