The fight between the States and the Federal Government is as hold the hills. There is now a case before the U.S. Supreme Court, brought by an allegedly wannabe poisoner named Carol Bond, in which she claims that the Feds have no jurisdiction over her criminal actions because they were designed to kill a mere individual rather than a group or a culture. This is all a part of the effort on the part of States Rights contingent to hamstring the Federal Government and render it powerless. Its expected to be a close call and well have to wait to see how the justices vote.
