The fight for the Heavenly CALL! God is in the family business - TopicsExpress

The fight for the Heavenly CALL! God is in the family business of transformation & resurrection. One example is when He displayed His power to Ezekiel in chapter 37 causing a valley of dry bones to arise and become a massive army! Something that seemed impossible was nothing on Gods possibility meter. As followers of Christ Jesus, we fight against many obstacles in this life daily. We go through the growing pains of true faith. In times past weve struggled with unbelief, doubt, fear, lusts, unforgiveness, pride, hatred, lack of love, idolatry, or even habitual natures of sin. Join me as I take a look into the book of Exodus. In Exodus chapter 3 and the beginning of Exodus chapter 4, God is the introducing Himself to Moses. The God of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob prophesied and described to Moses the first of various missions that he must accomplish as well as revealing to him the power that he would have to demonstrate Gods mighty wonders against Pharaoh and Egypt. Exodus 4:1 And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee. 4:2 And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. 4:3 And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. 4:4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand: 4:5 That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee. I remember that about 2 years ago Pastor David Williams used a powerful analogy back when the church meetings were at the small storefront 411 address. He said that God wants to use your boat, God wants to use the gifts and talents and resources that he has placed in you and around you for the perpetuation of the grand kingdom agenda of salvation. As Jesus Christ used the boat of Peter the fisherman, likewise does God want to use your gifts and talents for the glory of the kingdom of heaven. God said to Moses what is in your hand? God revealed to Moses that this wooden staff is what he would used to display the power of God to the unbelievers as a testament and sign onto belief in the true and living God. By this time Moses didnt realize yet how great God would show Himself strong through Moses. And likewise we as saints may not realize the great level in which the Lord wants to show himself strong through us. Ive come to realize that there are certain areas, faith levels or power from the the Lord that we will never see or obtained until we realize that our breakthroughs are connected and interwoven with the breakthroughs of others. God wants to make you a capable leader of many onto revival and breakthrough by His power as he did with Moses. Exodus 5:6 And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying, 5:7 Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves. 5:8 And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God. 5:9 Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard vain words. The walk with God is done by faith and not by sight. We endure and overcome by the mysterious unseen or seen power of God accessed through faith and not through carnal observation. Moses is a man that God revealed himself too, gave him power and instructed him concerning the misson onto freedom for His people. Kind of like in the beginning of our salvation walk and how God reveals Himself to us, transforms us and gives us the free gift of salvation. Also in the process giving us power and dominion over the devil. But during moses journey he runs into the first of his biggest obstacles which is the Pharaoh of Egypt and his stubborn heart against letting Gods hebrew people go. And on top of resisting the word of the Lord, because of the offensive request to free the hebrew slaves Pharaoh decides to make the work of the hebrews twice as hard. He commanded that the hebrew workers straw supply be cut off meanwhile forcing them to obtain and prepare their own straw and were obligated to produce the same amount bricks per day that they were accustom to making daily. And the taskmasters were there to enforce this commission placed on their heads. Likewise in our early experiences with the Lord we see how even at the beginning of our decision to follow the Lord wholeheartedly through Jesus Christ we encounter what seems like a barrage of hindrances, problems and tribulation that are trying to get us to fall to fear, doubt, unbelief and failure. The devils unseen league of rebellious spirits are all around to attempt to enforce failure and physical and spiritual enslavement. So even the Hebrew people at the beginning of the promise of freedom through Moses the delieverer faced resistance and harsh conditions. Likewise we Christians face resistance, rejection, and warfare from the kingdom of darkness and even our own flesh which feels grievous in the beginning of our walk with God. Jesus Christ and how He dealt with the testing he went through in the desert is one of the greatest examples of how to endure and overcome. Our Lord was led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit to be tempted by the devil in the beginning of His journey, after baptism. Jesus Christ demonstrated that He wasnt self reliant. He exposed the lies of the devil, using the written words of life against the deceitful words of darkness. In the end, He was ministered to by heavenly agents sent by the Father. Faith grants you access to God. When God purifies your heart by faith, then your purposes will be rooted in faith, and when your purposes are rooted in faith, your heart will be clean, and when your heart is clean, you can truly see in order to steadily walk and mature in godliness. Put on the whole armor of God because the Lord is completely and perfectly able to keep until the end that which you have committed unto Him. We will grow through the successful experience of His power. Jesus Christ, THE HOPE OF GLORY said during the end of John chapter 16 that even though we would go through tribulations He has made provisions for us to be partakers of His supernatural peace and we should be of good cheer for He has overcome this fallen world. Im going to end with this scripture here that I love: Romans 8:18 - For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. GLORY TO THE KING WHOS LOVE AND PEACE SURPASS OUR! UNDERSTANDING!!!
