The first Michelin star restaurant opened in 2008 in Budapest, Costes is celebrating its 5th anniversary! In 2008 Costes restaurant opened. One and a half years later Costes won "The Restaurant of the Year" award by the Dining Guide. The international recognition did not wait too long: in 2010, the Michelin Guide awarded Costes a Michelin star - the first ever for any Hungarian restaurant -, which Costes has proudly kept ever since. In the following year, another major international gastro publication, Gault Millau Restaurant Guide, listed the restaurant among the highest quality ones and received three Gault Millau chef hats.
