The first Ontario Cup MTB race of the year took place at the well made trails hosted by Woodnewton (Uxbridge). Despite threatening skies the racing went off without a hitch. The Speed River Bicycle crew was well represented throughout the days events. Tristan and Jonah Landry, the shops youngest riders, completed their events and were happy to enjoy the fruits of their labor, chocolate milk provided by event sponsors. Alex Lefebvre competed in the Senior Elite class and put in a solid performance placing 30th. Michael Dennis raced to 7th place in the Master Expert 30-39 class. Rick Landry had the shops best finish placing a very solid 2nd in the Master Expert 50-54 category. All in all the day was a success and fun was had by all. I believe a good nights sleep is in order for all involved.
