Wow. A wonderful, devastating column in the National Review, first published in the Washington Free Beacon, by Matthew Continetti. I normally slam the administrations policies, of course, but I dont tend to get caught up in the drama of slamming presidential vacations... Ive always tended to agree with Rushs point that a president is never really on vacation because they still take calls, they still make decisions; they dont need to be in the Oval Office to do good or to do damage. If anything, I tend to be happy when BHO is out of the White House. Still, BHOs behavior these last couple of years makes all the constant comparisons to Nero make one feel that Nero could sue for slander at the claim of similarity. I strongly recommend that everyone read Mr. Continettis column. Its not long; read it all the way through.
