The first big blow to the Starlight Heist. We must move the shoot to the first week of January. Not just because of being denied a permit and escalated rental costs, but because there has been a great deal of debate. There is no doubt we could press through and get something that looks pretty, but it wouldnt be as good as it could be. I want this film to be something we are all very happy with. Im still pushing along working hard on it, but the extra four weeks of prep allows me to focus on script revisions, fundraising, casting, costumes, props, set deck, rehearsals, location issues, permits, and lessened rental costs. All squared away before the holidays. So everyone has sufficient prep time. Our biggest benefit during the first week of January is no one is working yet, so we can arrange more people who would otherwise be busy as hell in film and television. Cast and crew and producers team. Our biggest obstacle will be peoples vacation plans. This decision was not made lightly, and I truly believe it will benefit the production greatly.
