The first day if the school holidays and the sun was shining so we made the most of it with a trip to Moses gate. The children had a brilliant time exploring the environment. We even found a pathway which the oldest children went off to explore. We played on the play equipment and it was lovely to see the older children helping the younger ones negotiate the equipment (especially the big slide). We fed the swans, geese and ducks who were very hungry then had a wander around the lake. We saw lots of nests, some occupied and one empty. When we returned we had fun popping bubble wrap as we jumped and ran across it. The younger children had a sleep whilst the older ones had another water fight!
