The first-ever Africa Summit, will be held on 5th August, 2014 at White House, Washington DC, which US administration has billed it as a historic opportunity to promote its own Africa initiatives, identify trade partners, and foster much-needed counter-terrorism cooperation across the continent will be attended by 50 African Head of States, among them President Kenyatta through an invitation by US President Barack Obama. During this visit President Kenyatta will meet with Kenyans resident in the US on Wednesday, 6th August, 2014 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm in Washington, DC. Venue details will be provided later by Kenya Embassy Washington DC.
