The first thing that is needed is to end the media blackout. The global public needs to be informed about the issues the world faces from Fukushima. The impacts of Fukushima could affect almost everyone on the planet, so we all have a stake in the outcome. If the public is informed about this problem, the political will to resolve it will rapidly develop. Sadly, I dont believe most people care about the events in Fukushima, because: 1. For many of us it seems far away, so we dont take the danger seriously. 2. Many people will suppress any thoughts or concerns they might have, as they dont want the situation to have any consequences on their lives. They want to continue living in their bubble. 3. We dont understand enough about it. More understanding will not come into place, because numbers 1 and 2 will prevent this. What have we done?
