The flagship Urgent Run event in Singapore on Sunday was a fun event to draw attention to the sanitation crisis. With around 350 participants, and more than 40 volunteers ensuring the day was a success, the run featured Guest of Honour Minister Lim Swee Say and World Toilet Organization founder Jack Sim, toilet-themed games, a giant blow-up toilet, toilet-roll shaped medals, and before the run, runners did a big squat to show their solidarity with the one billion people in the world who still have to defecate in the open.
