The flesh profits the flesh To my brethren throughout the word, I greet you with the peace of God with surpass all understanding that you may be firm in your faith in Christ through the riches of God’s love.. Amen Let us always remember one another in our prayers that in the choices of our lives we might have the courage to choose God over money, Love over hate and community over isolation; this is so that the joy of the Lord which excites eternal hope may grow richly in us. This letter is concerning a request from a brother who inquires about the evil of two Christian associations which are lock on against each other about material possession. With this in mind I refer to the words of the apostle Paul: 1 Corinthians 3: Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly—mere infants in Christ. 2 I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. 3 You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarrelling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans? If we belong to the same one God and the work which we do in the body, we do for God then it does not matter whether one does more than another but that everyman does his work diligently onto God as a faithful servant.. this type of loving attitude is that which is good for Christian living remember the parable of the talents for every servant which in diligence brought an increase onto the master gets the same spiritual blessing Mathew 25: 23“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ In your heart you consider constantly why that the one talent is taken from the lazy servant and given to the servant with the 10 talents and not that with 4 talents, do you know see that what is flesh is the flesh and add nothing to the Spirit but the faithfulness of working at the master service that attracted the masters praise. The same is with the Kingdom of Heaven; everything which is done in the body only profits the body but the attitude by with we do the master’s service profit us when we are out of the body, so let us all imbibe the Spirit of unity and love in the service of God and humanity in this way the unbeliever may see in us the Living light of Christ and become attracted to the loving gaze of Christ which calls everyone of us personally to peaceful living as we wait until the day He comes again.
