The following is a 10 hour Amish barn raising time-lapsed into 3 minutes. Ive been to one of these, as an observer of course, and hard work is replaced by organism thinking. The time lapse shows this so well. This is an incredible example of community resilience that will be necessary upon the collapse of the Industrial Age if indeed, we dont discover a new energy source to replace oil. I dont know about you but I think life would be grand if society was a symphony, a yoga. Toward the end there is a break, that is when everybody sits down to a spread like none youve seen. Many, many chickens gave their lives for this community that day. :) This is culture, and it can look anyway the community wishes. Size is key, there is a limit (175 to 200 people) to the size of interactive or organism like human communities.
