The following is on my mind today, This actually happened in Washington DC in 1968, Just Google it. The Pick Temple Show aired on WTOP, seven days per week, in the Washington, D. C. area and was sponsored by a local grocery store chain, Giant Food of Landover, Maryland. This sounds like a joke but it shows - how early on - Black men know about what happened in Staten Island today, With no tape delay, one day this happened: Ol Pick asked one little Black kid who was around 8 years old, “What do you want to be when you grow up” the kid response was “I want to be a White man because my mother said that a nig*g*er ain’t sh*it.” The TV when blank because they weren’t using delayed broadcasting at that time. Brothers - please beware - its game season and they are hunting US!!!
